Casa Prato della Valle is very close to Prato della Valle[1], a few minutes walk from the Basilica of St Antony[2], from the Botanic gardens[3]St. Leopold’s Sanctuary[4], the Scrovegni Chapel[5], the University[6] and many other places of artistic[7] historic city.

Located in the heart of Padua is very well served by public bus and tram. Is easily reachable from the train station (1,7km), by tram (stop near University) and the bus number (is no: 6 ,5 ,or 24) the bus stop is (Ospedale Civile).

From station can be reached on foot in 10-15 minutes.

It offers the possibility of parking your car in the public garage but agreement with the structure, or in the surrounding streets,there is the possibility to park freely.

PRATO DELLA VALLE

BOTANIC GARDENS
Orto Botanico di PadovaThe Botanical Garden of Padua was founded in 1545 and is the oldest university botanical garden still located in its original location. The garden currently has an area of almost 22 000 square meters and contains more than 6,000 cultivated plants. Numerous plants introduced for the first time in Italy through the botanical garden. Have been recently introduced 5 new greenhouses, placed in a gallery of glass and steel, which reproduce many biomes, areas characterized by uniformity of the Earth climate and vegetation. ST. LEOPOLD’S SANCTUARY
Father Leopold Mandic’ was born at Herceg Novi in Yugoslavia on 12th may 1866, was sent to Padua in 1909. There He remained until his death on 30th  July, 1942. After his death, the fame of his sanctity spread rapidly in many parts of the world. Many graces were attributed to his intercession. He spent almost all his life in the confessional sacrificing himself heroically. In 1946 they began the paperwork for the recognition of his holiness. He was declared Blessed on May 2, 1976 by Pope Paul VI and was proclaimed Saint on October 16, 1983 by Pope John Paul II . Father Leopold Saint of the reconciliation, after the death of this Saint numerous pilgrims visit his shrine. It is a place of deep spiritual fascination. Saint’s body rests here in an incorrupted state.
